Brexit Is Finally Here: The United Kingdom leaves the European Union tonight on January 31, 2020 at 2300 hours GMT, after being part of the trade union for 47 years. The Brexit as Great Britain’s exit has come to be known, has been in the happening for three years. Ever since the referendum in 2016 in which 51% of British nationals voted to leave the Union, Britain has been embroiled in political strife. The Brexit has seen two sets of general elections and has claimed three prime ministers. With the latest set of elections, Boris Johnson took charge and promised BREXIT which is finally happening.
