Bihar Floods: Locals Forced To Carry Body On A Cart Due To Incessant Rainfall In Patna

Around 24 districts of Bihar including Patna badly hit after incessant rains lashed the state on September 28. Locals were forced to carry a body on a cart due to incessant rainfall in Alamganj area of Patna. The body was being taken on a cart to the hospital for postmortem. Locals are facing several problems in the low-lying areas due to continuous rainfall. Heavy rain lashed wide areas of Patna causing water-logging problem. Patna remained the worst affected after several localities in the city were left water-logged after the rains. Normal life was thrown out of gear after rainwater entered the residential areas and houses were submerged under knee-deep water. National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) team is rescuing people and animals from low-lying areas of the city.
