Bihar Bridge Collapse: Portion Of 4-Lane Under-Construction Bridge Collapses In Bhagalpur

A portion of a four-lane Sultanganj-Aguwani Ghat bridge over the Ganga in Bihar collapsed on June 4. The under-construction bridge came crashing down in Bhagalpur. No casualties have been reported. The bridge was inaugurated in 2014 by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. It connects Sultanganj and Khagaria districts. CM Nitish Kumar has ordered an inquiry into the incident.
