Bhai Dooj celebrates the bond of love between brothers & sisters and is observed on the last & fifth day of the Diwali festival by Hindus. On this day, sisters apply red tika on the forehead of their brothers and pray for their well-being. The date for Bhai Dooj always falls two days after that of Diwali. This year, Bhai Dooj will be celebrated on November 16. The dwitiya tithi starts at 7.06 am on 16 November and ends at 3.56 am on 17 November. The rituals should be performed during the auspicious period on Bhai Dooj. The shubh muhurat will begin from 1.10 pm on November 16 and it will stay till 3.18 pm. Watch the video to know more.
