Australian Open 2022: Novak Djokovic Gets Vaccine Exemption, Australia Divided Over Decision

World Tennis Champion Novak Djokovic will be appearing at the upcoming Australian Open. However, what has got everyone talking down under is his Covid-19 vaccination status as Djokovic has previously said that he is opposed to mandatory vaccination. Australian Open chief Craig Tiley said 26 athletes had applied for medical exemptions and "a handful" had been granted, under guidelines set by federal regulators.
