Assembly elections in four states - Andhra Pradesh, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh and Odisha were held along with the Lok Sabha polls this time. The term of the governments in all four states ended by April-May. Early trends of these assembly elections indicate these results are following national trends with BJP doing well in Odisha and Arunachal Pradesh.
