On October 25, a special Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) court said it cannot pass a blanket order to not take cognizance of an affidavit by a witness in cruise ship drugs case alleging payoff to a Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officer. The court disposed of the application. It was backed by the NCB and its officer Sameer Wankhede. An affidavit has been filed by Prabhakar Sail, who claims to be a bodyguard to KP Gosavi, levelling allegations relating to the October 2 raid when superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was arrested. Sail claimed he heard a conversation between Gosavi and one Sam D'souza on October 3 about a Rs 18 crore deal. Sail, in the affidavit mentioned that KP Gosavi said they will have to give Rs 8 crore to Sameer Wankhede. On October 25 evening, Wankhede reached Delhi but denied that he had been summoned by any agency. At the airport, surrounded by several reporters, Wankhede said he is in Delhi for some work. Meanwhile, KP Gosavi, one of the nine independent witnesses of NCB in the Aryan Khan case whose photos and videos with Shah Rukh Khan's son went viral on social media, tried to surrender at the Madiyaon police station in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. However, he was not allowed to do so as the case is not with them. The Bombay High Court will hear Aryan Khan’s bail plea on October 26. Watch the video to know more.
