Arvind Kejriwal's Appeal to Delhi Residents As City Goes On Yellow Alert: What's Open, What's Shut

Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi announced that the city was going under a ‘Yellow Alert’ as the positivity rate had breached the 0.5 percent mark. This was one of the criteria to impose restrictions as per the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) which had been notified by the state government in August this year. As per the new guidelines, all educational institutions – schools, colleges, and vocational courses as well as tution classes, will be shut down; cinema halls, and gyms will close with immediate effect, public transport will operate at 50% capacity.
