Desmond Tutu, South African anti-apartheid icon, died on Sunday, December 26. Cyril Ramaphosa, South African President, announced the death of the 90-year-old Tutu. President Cyril Ramaphosa tweeted, “Desmond Tutu was a patriot without equal; a leader of principle and pragmatism who gave meaning to the biblical insight that faith without works is dead.” Desmond Tutu won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1984.
