AR Rahman Birthday Special: AR Rahman is one of the best-selling recording artists both in India and worldwide, since he made his debut in the early '90s with Roja. The composer has worked in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and even in Hollywood, Chinese and Iranian films. He has won six National Film Awards, two Academy Awards, two Grammy Awards, a BAFTA Award and a Golden Globe Award. Most of his soundtracks are chartbusters. Even when the film fails, there have been occasions when the soundtrack of the film continues to mesmerise forever.
