Anurag Kashyap Undergoes Angioplasty After Chest Pain, Now Recuperating At Home
Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, after experiencing some health related issues earlier this week, has undergone angioplasty at a hospital in Mumbai. Reportedly, Kashyap decided to seek medical attention after he suffered mild chest pain earlier last week. He has been advised to rest for at least a couple of weeks before resuming work. Anurag has been largely missing from social media platform Instagram since March, which was when he wrapped up the shoot of his upcoming film Dobaara, with Taapsee Pannu. On Twitter, he has been sharing people's request for Covid-19 supplies. After wrapping up Dobaaraa, Anurag was working on the film’s post-production from his home in Mumbai. Dobaara marks Anurag and Taapsee’s third collaboration. The two last worked together in Manmarziyaan (2018). The film's shoot was interrupted earlier this year when Anurag and Taapsee's houses came under IT raids. They resumed shooting almost three days after the Income Tax Department on March 3 began raiding entities connected to Taapsee and Anurag as well as his partners in the production house Phantom Films including film producer Vikas Bahl. Raids were carried out across 30 locations in Mumbai and Pune. On the work front, the Gangs of Wasseypur director was seen sharing screen space with Anil Kapoor in Vikramaditya Motwane’s AK vs AK, which released on Netflix last year.
