Anti-Citizenship Law Protests: Violent Protests In Delhi’s Jamia, UP’s AMU, Assam & Bengal

Anti-Citizenship Law Protests: Violent protests against the amended citizenship act were witnessed across the country on Sunday. Protests erupted near Jamia Millia Islamia in Delhi. Protests were also seen at the Aligarh Muslim University in Uttar Pradesh. An uneasy calm prevailed in Assam, the hub of the protests. Internet services were shut in West Bengal's six districts -- Malda, Uttar Dinajpur, Murshidabad, Howrah, North 24 Parganas and parts of South 24 Parganas.
