Army was called in Assam & Tripura to tackle the ongoing violent protests against the Citizenship Amendment Bill. Thousands of protesters descended on the streets of Assam, clashing with the police. Several parts of Assam witnessed bandh. Locals set ablaze tyres on the roads to show protest.
