Amsterdam: Gunman Takes Hostages At Apple Store

On February 22, a man who had a gun in his hand held several people hostage in an Apple store in Amsterdam. The man was overpowered after a siege which lasted several hours, the police said as reported by AFP. As per an AFP report, police was alerted of an armed robbery at 5:40 pm (1640 GMT). As reported by AFP, the police said that the last hostage held in the store was safe. Visuals, which have gone viral on social media, show the gunman holding a man at gunpoint.
