Amarinder Singh Announces New Party 'Punjab Lok Congress', Slams Gandhi Family In Seven Page Letter

On November 2, Amarinder Singh, former chief minister of Punjab, announced the name of his new political party, ‘Punjab Lok Congress’. Singh revealed the name of his party shortly after resigning from the Congress. This comes after his bitter feud with Navjot Singh Sidhu, which forced him to step down as the Chief Minister of Punjab. Singh also shared his resignation letter on social media. The veteran politician levelled several allegations against the Congress and its top brass, which included party chief Sonia Gandhi. In the seven-page letter, Singh hits out at Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. Singh said that he felt deeply hurt by Sonia Gandhi’s conduct and that of her children who he still deeply loves as much as his own children.
