On April 6, Anil K Antony, son of veteran Congress leader AK Antony joined the BJP. The Congress leader’s son joined the party in the presence of Union ministers Piyush Goyal and V Muraleedharan. Anil K Antony headed the Digital Media cell of the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee. Congress veteran AK Anthony expressed anguish and disappointment over his son Anil's decision to join the BJP. He said it was a wrong decision and very painful.
