Air India Express IX-1344 Dubai-Calicut Air Crash: All About The Mishap At Kozhikode in Kerala

Air India Express IX-1344 flying to Kozhikode from Dubai crashed and split into two after shooting ahead of the runaway. The Boeing 737-800 aircraft slid off the end the runway, and fell into a 35 feet deep gorge as the Kozhikode airport has a table-top runway. 18 people of the 190 on board the aircraft have died including both the Air India pilots. The aircraft was being piloted by Captain Deepak Vasant Sathe and Co-piloted by Akhilesh Kumar. The Dubai-Calicut Air India Express aircraft was carrying passengers as part of the Vande Bharat Mission
