Afghanistan Under Taliban: Women Posters Painted Over, NATO Collaborators Being Asked To Surrender

As the Taliban took over Afghanistan, many advertising posters showing women were painted over. Pictures that have gone viral on social media, show rollers being used to cover up large posters of women. Another picture showed a man spraying black paint on a poster of a woman. Many owners themselves are removing pictures featuring women from their salons, shops. Meanwhile, the Taliban has banned female news anchors in a government news channel. Taliban have replaced the female news anchors with their representatives, reported by New York Times. Khadija Amin, a prominent anchor on state television, said the Taliban suspended her and other women employees, indefinitely. Reportedly, A UN document says the Taliban is intensifying its hunt for all people who worked and collaborated with NATO and US forces. Watch the video to know more.
