AAP Announces Bhagwant Mann As Punjab CM Candidate For Upcoming Assembly Polls

On January 18, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) declared Bhagwant Mann as its chief ministerial candidate for Punjab. Arvind Kejriwal said Mann was chosen through televoting. Kejriwal said that Bhagwant Mann got more than 93 per cent of the votes cast through phone and WhatsApp. Kejriwal tweeted, “I congratulate Sardar Bhagwant Mann on being declared CM face of AAP in Punjab.” Mann replied to Kejriwal’s tweet and said, “Sir, I shall do my best to justify the trust & belief that you & the people of Punjab have bestowed upon me.” Punjab will vote on February 20. Results for the 177 seats will be declared on March 10. Watch the video to know more.
