The most popular video streaming portal YouTube by Google was down again for many users across countries. The online medium had faced a similar outage earlier this month and was restored within two hours. This time, users from many parts of the world had reported that they can't stream videos. Finally, it was restored after the people across the globe complained. According to the map by down detector, YouTube was down for users in Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan and some parts of India and Australia.
Many took to Twitter saying that could not access YouTube. You can check the current status of the affected regions here. The official handle of YouTube has not yet responded about the outage. When YouTube faced a similar problem on October 17, Team YouTube had tweeted saying, "Thanks for your reports about YouTube, YouTube TV and YouTube Music access issues. We're working on resolving this and will let you know once fixed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will keep you updated." They had also updated once the video portal was back saying, "We're back! Thanks for all of your patience. If you continue to experience issues, please let us know."
