New Delhi, June 25: YouTube, the video-sharing platform is reportedly testing a new feature called "Hype" in selected countries to support small content creators on its platform. The new feature of YouTube is currently being tested in Brazil, Taiwan and Turkey. The YouTube new feature is expected to provide more visibility and interaction for YouTube creators who are just starting out. The YouTube Hype feature could benefit many small YouTube creators by giving them a better chance to grow their audience and enhance their content visibility.

As per a report of Business Standard, YouTube is now testing the "Hype" feature to help small creators. The YouTube new feature will likely help small YouTube creators, who often struggle to get their content noticed on YouTube. By providing tools that might increase engagement, the YouTube Hype feature is expected to make it easier for these creators to build up their following and succeed on the platform. Meta Marked Real Photos As ‘Made With AI’ on Instagram and Facebook, Company Spokesperson Said Would Evaluate Approach: Reports.

Previously, viewers could only show their approval of a video by like or share options. This helped the YouTube creators since more likes and shares meant more people were enjoying the content. However, the new YouTube Hype feature is being tested in Brazil, Taiwan and Turkey for small creators, but it is not clear if it will cost money in the future. YouTube will gather feedback and decide if and how they will roll it out to more users in the future. boAt Stone Lumos with LED Projector Launched in India; Know About Price, Specifications and Features.

How YouTube Hype Feature Works?

Hyped videos are shown in the "Explore" section instead of the trending section. Additionally, viewers can only hype videos that were uploaded in the past seven days. The feature is designed to help small creators get noticed by new viewers and gain community support. Only a select group of YouTube Partner Program creators, who follow the community guidelines and have fewer than 500,000 subscribers, are allowed to test this feature.
