A Chinese company has reportedly captured an image from the top of Oriental Pearl Tower in Shanghai. And, you can zoom onto this high resolution image to check the face expressions of people from very far distance. This idea is the brainchild of a setup which is called as Jinkun Tech or Bigpixel technology Corporation. According to the company, the image have been accessed by more than 8 million people and the picture is very, very big in terms of size. The company has confirmed in a statement that photo resolution is the toughest part as it is reportedly 195 gigapixels. Moreover, one megapixel is around one million pixels and resolution of smartphones and digital cameras is often chopped up. For instance, a 12MP camera is capable of generating an image of 12 million total pixels. However, we are talking about gigapixels and one gigapixel is 1 billion pixels.
The company states that the image capture in gigapixels is 2000 times more precise than the picture captured via ordinary camera. The image is a 360-degree snapshot captured of a sunny Shanghai day from making it the third-biggest photo. The company has confirmed that it is Asia's largest picture.
