After launching Redmi Note 7 smartphone in the Chinese market, Xiaomi is now gearing up to launch the device in India soon. As per the latest announcement from Xiaomi India - Managing Director - Manu Kumar Jain, the Chinese phone maker will soon launch the Note 7 phone in India. Manu Jain posted an image on his twitter handle of himself and Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun with Redmi Note 7 in their hands. However, the post didn't reveal the exact launch date of the smartphone. On the specification front, Redmi Note 7 is the first device from Xiaomi to come with a waterdrop notch display. It sports a 6.3-inch FHD+ glass display with 2340x1080 pixels of resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The 2.5D curved glass body is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Powering the device is an octa-core Snapdragon 660 mated to Adreno 512 GPU that is clocked at 2.2GHz. The smartphone will be offered in 3 different RAM versions - 3GB, 4GB, and 6GB options. Moreover, the internal storage options on the smartphone will be 32GB and 64GB. The customers can expand the memory further up to 256GB via microSD card.
Coming to the camera department, the new Redmi Note 7 smartphone is packed with dual camera module at the rear, which comprises of 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with LED flash and 5MP depth sensing sensor. At the front, the smartphone also comes with a 13MP sensor for video calling and selfies.

The Note 7 is the first smartphone from Xiaomi's newest brand - Redmi, which was launched recently in China. The 3GB variant of Redmi Note 7 is priced at 999 Yuan (around Rs 10,380) while the 4GB variant costs 1199 Yuan (approximately 12,459). The 6GB RAM variant is priced at 1399 Yuan (around Rs 14,537). The smartphone is offered in three exciting shades - Twilight Gold, Fantasy Blue, and Bright Black colour options.
