Xiaomi’s Pocophone F1 Smartphone Spotted on Geekbench Ahead of the Launch
Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO will be launching its first flagship smartphone POCOPHONE F1 on August 22 in India. The device is confirmed to feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and packs many new things like face-unlock and AI cameras.
There are only two days to go for the launch of Xiaomi’s Pocophone F1 in India. Poco was introduced in India earlier this month by non-other than Manu Kumar Jain, Managing Director and Global Vice President of Xiaomi at his Twitter handle. The upcoming smartphone is claimed to be a high- performance driven device as per the tweets posted on its official Twitter page POCO India. Described as the ‘Master Of Speed’, the smartphone is confirmed to have the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, which is said to give the best performance for gaming, photography and multitasking.
Last week, two leaked videos gave us a brief overview of the specifications of the phone and also the test result of the benchmarking software tool - AnTuTu. As per the leaked videos, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC paired with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal. For the graphics, the Pocophone F1 smartphone uses the Adreno 630 GPU fused with cooling technology. The device sports a 5.99-inch FHD+ display with a notch at the top. Whereas on the camera side, the phone may feature a dual camera setup of 12MP + 5MP sensors at the rear and at the front of the device it could feature a 20MP selfie shooter. Also, the smartphone may carry a massive 4,000 mAh battery will support Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 with USB Type-C port.
A new report shared by the tech website GSMArena.com states that Xiaomi’s Poco F1 smartphone was spotted on Geekbench, a performance measuring site. The report revealed an 8 GB RAM variant of the smartphone tested on the website. So, we can assume that the phone may be offered in two RAM variants. Further, the report charted the performance score of the device, which was 2451 on a single-core and 8998 on multi-cores.
