Xiaomi, one of the best-known smartphone manufacturers in India, organised an event called ‘Smarter Living’, where the company launched a slew of new products for its customers ranging from smart TVs to fitness bands. The event started off with the much-loved Mi Band 3, a new successor to its previous model. It comes with quite a few improvements. The new Mi Band 3 will now be able to receive and notify up to 3 WhatsApp messages and provide weather forecast for up to 3 days. The fitness band also features other new qualities compared to its predecessors, one of which is better battery life. With the improved battery of 110mAh, the smart wearable will last up to 20 days straight without charging.

Also, the Mi band 3 comes with IP67 OLED display that can withstand up to 50m underwater and the watch is made out of hypoallergenic, durable silicone strap, which comes in three colour options: Black, Blue and Red. Other features on this band are the health tracking, stopwatch, find your phone, alarm and idle alert. Mi Air Purifier 2S is Xiaomi’s solution to keep air pollutants away from your home and to keep you breathing healthy. The new Mi Air Purifier 2S comes with an OLED display capable of adjusting the brightness of the screen based on the surrounding’s lighting. Also, the device is built to eradicate harmful allergens, pollen, dust, chemicals and benzene gases with high precision lasers and 360 triple-layer filters. The Mi Air Purifier 2S is also integrated with smart features, which allows the device to be easily accessed through Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. Mi Home Security Camera 360, is a surveillance camera designed to record up to five days in HD quality and also come with an infrared sensor for clear vision during the night. The device can be monitored through Mi Home applications, which also helps users communicate through it since the device sports a 2-way audio system. The Mi Home Security Camera 360 also features expandability options up to 64GB via microSD card. Finally, Xiaomi unveiled Mi Smart LED TV 4 series. The new versions of the smart TV sets come with a new UI called Patchwall based on Android TV system with Android Oreo 8.1 OS. Mi Smart LED TVs also support voice command, helping users search for content and channels. The device also features a built-in setup box, which removes the hassle of connecting it with one.

The Mi LED TV 4 comes in three size variants: Mi LED TV 4 Pro 55-inch at Rs 49,999, Mi LED TV 4 A 49-inch model at Rs 29,999, and Mi LED TV 4 C 32-inch model at Rs 14,999. The 55-inch model comes with a thin bezel-less display, which is touted as the world’s thinnest Smart TV with 4.9mm ultra-thin design. As for other features, the LED TV includes 3 HDMI ports, 2 USB 3.0 ports, Wi-FI and Bluetooth 5.0. Running the device is a 64-bit quad-core processor coupled with Mali T830 Graphics, 2GB RAM and 8GB built-in storage. The new Mi LED TV 4 will available on October 9 via Amazon.in, Mi.com and offline partners.
