Xiaomi Redmi S2 Leaked Images Reveal Design & Specifications; Likely to Sport Redmi Note 5 Pro Dual Camera
Xiaomi Redmi S2 smartphone is expected to be launched in Indian as well as Chinese markets only.
After launching the new Mi 6X smartphone in China last week, Xiaomi might bring the smartphone to the Indian market soon. Moreover, the Chinese smartphone maker is also reportedly working in the new Redmi S2 device, however, the launch details about the smartphone is yet to be announced. Taking the rumors and speculations into consideration, the launch of the Xiaomi’s newest smartphone is believed to be imminent. Moreover, a set of high resolution pictures of the new Redmi S2 have emerged on the internet which reveals the complete design which seems to be in-line with the recently launched Redmi Note 5 Pro. The leaked images also reveals the new Redmi S2 will sport vertically aligned dual camera module as seen on the Redmi Note 5 Pro. Going by the leaked images courtesy of Czech Republic site - Svetandroida, the new upcoming Redmi S2 smartphone sports a rose gold shade that reveals the smartphone from all the angles. At the rear, the device will come with dual camera setup which is separated by a LED flash in the middle. The camera module is expected to be a 12MP primary sensor along with 5MP secondary sensor. However, there is not much detail about the selfie shooter as of now, but is speculated to get 16 MP selfie camera. It also gets a circular fingerprint sensor at the rear. The device will also come with a 5.99-inch IPS or HD+ display panel with a 1440 x 720 pixels resolution, and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is rumored to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC fitted with a 3GB of RAM & 32GB of internal storage. The smartphone is hinted to sport a battery of 3000 mAh, however, the source claims that the device will get a battery of 3080mAh. Other notable features of Redmi S2 are expected to be Android 8.1 Oreo, 3.5mm headphone jack and much more. Furthermore, the upcoming smartphone was also recently sported on TENNA and 3C certification site previously which hints that the launch of the device is imminent. This budget oriented device from Xiaomi will be introduced in 2 markets only – India and China.
