After receiving an overwhelming response from the Indian market, the new Redmi Note 8 Series smartphones will go on sale next on October 25, 2019. The phones will be made available on Amazon, Mi.com and Mi Home stores. This piece of information has been confirmed by Xiaomi India Head - Manu Kumar Jain via Twitter. Both the devices are equipped with quad rear cameras and FHD+ display screens. The new Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro packs a 6.53-inch FHD+ HDR display with a resolution of 2340X1080 pixels and aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T chipset mated with up to 8GB of RAM. The phone is equipped with a quad-rear camera featuring a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens. At the front, there is a 20MP snapper up front with f/2.0 aperture. On the other hand, Redmi Note 8 gets a 6.39-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 1080x2280 pixels. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 665 chipset from Qualcomm that is paired with up to 6GB of RAM. Redmi Note 7's successor also comes with a quad-camera at the back. It consists of 48MP primary snapper with an 8MP wide-angle shooter and two 2MP sensors for macro images and depth-sensing. It also gets 18W fast charging for 4000 mAh battery. The Redmi Note 8 is offered in three colours Moonlight White, Neptune Blue, and Space Black colours. On the pricing front, the Redmi Note 8 Pro comes with a starting price of Rs.14,999 for the base 6GB + 64GB variant. The 6GB + 128GB variant costs Rs. 15,999 whereas the top-of-the-line 8GB + 128GB version retails  in India at Rs. 17,999. However, the Redmi Note 8 is priced at Rs 9999 for 4GB + 64GB variant whereas the 6GB + 128GB version costs Rs. 12,999.
