Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone brand launched the new Redmi Note 8 Series smartphones in the Indian market earlier this week. The new Redmi Note 8 series comes in two versions - Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro. The main underlines of the new Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphone are 64MP AI Quad camera, MediaTek Helio G90T with LiquidCool Technology, 6.53-inch Dot-notch HDR display, built-in Alexa, 4500 mAh battery and much more. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro will be seen in three versions depending on the configuration offered. The model includes 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. The handset will be made available in three colour options - Gamma Green, Shadow Black and Halo White.
On the specification front, the phone sports a 6.53-inch FHD+ display with Dot Notch and resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. Under the hood, the Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphone comes powered by an Helio G90T professional gaming processor that comes clubbed with ARM Mali G76 GPU for enhanced performance. The chipset comes clubbed with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal space. Moreover, the onboard storage of 128GB can be expanded up to 512GB with a dedicated microSD slot. For photography, the Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphone packs a Quad rear camera module comprising of a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP Macro snapper, a 2MP depth sensor with 10X zoom. The setup also comes with a dual-LED flash. At the front, there is a 20MP snapper up front with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling.
As far as the prices are concerned, the base variant of Redmi Note 8 Pro with 6GB of RAM + 64GB onboard storage will cost Rs 14,999 whereas the mid-variant with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage will retail at Rs 15,999. The top-end model with 8GB of RAM + 128GB storage will be available at Rs 17,999.
