Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone maker has officially launched new smartphones under the sub-brand - Redmi for the Indian market. Dubbed as Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro, the smartphones are priced at Rs 9999 and Rs 13,999 respectively. The newly launched Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphones are made in India devices. Both the models are offered in 3 variants, however, they differ based on the RAM and ROM specifications on offer. As far as the specifications are concerned, the new Redmi Note 7 Pro is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC which is clubbed up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage. Backed by a massive 4000 mAh battery, the phone also supports Quick Charge 4 that is claimed to provide atleast juice for 2 days. The phone runs the latest Android 9 Pie OS that is based on MIUI 10. For photography, there is a dual camera module at the back featuring a 48MP lens with Sony IMX586 sensor and a 5MP secondary shooter for depth sensing. At the front, there is a 13MP AI-enabled selfie camera for low-light selfies. The phone features a 6.3-inch FHD+ LTPS display with 1080x2340 pixels of resolution and 19.5:9 of aspect ratio.

Xioami Redmi Note 7, on the other hand, gets a 6.3-inch FHD+ LTPS display with resolution of 1080x2340 pixels. Protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, the handset carries an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Under the skin, the phone comes powered by Qualcomm's popular Snapdragon 660 processor which is clubbed with up to 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. Similar to the Pro version, the Redmi Note 7 is fuelled backed by a 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4. The Redmi Note 7 also runs Android 9 Pie OS that is based on MIUI 10. The Redmi Note 7 comes in Once Black, Ruby Red, and Sapphire Blue colours.

Coming to the price point, the 3GB + 32GB variant of the new Redmi Note 7 is priced at Rs 9999 whereas 4GB + 64GB model costs Rs 11,999. On the other hand, the new Redmi Note 7 Pro is priced from Rs 13,999 for the 4GB version. The 6GB RAM + 128GB internal memory model costs Rs 16,999. As far as the availability is concerned, the Redmi Note 7 will be made available from March 6 while Redmi's Note 7 Pro will go on sale on March 13.
