Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi has started sending out media invites for an event, which is scheduled to happen on November 22. However, the invite doesn't clearly mentions which phone will be launched. The media invite mentions 'The New Note Rises' which comes to the conclusion that Xiaomi might launch Redmi Note 6 Pro in India. Though the media invite doesn't specify the product, but Manu Kumar Jain - Xiaomi Global VP and Managing Director Xiaomi India has confirmed via Tweet mentioning that Xiaomi Note 6 Pro will be launched in India on November 22. He has also shared a countdown page for the same.
As a reminder, Xiaomi launched the new Redmi Note 6 Pri in Thailand in a single configuration. Launched at THB 6990 (around Rs 15,300), the 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM variant is expected to be priced at a similar price point. However, exact prices will be revealed at the launch event itself. After the launch, the smartphone will be made available for online retail during Black Friday Sale on November 23 at 12 PM IST. As far as the specifications are concerned, the new Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro will sport a 6.26-incg FHD+ IPD LCD screen with 19:9 aspect ratio and 86% screen-to-body ratio. Moreover, the smartphone will be packed with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Packed with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, the smartphone will also get Adreno 509 GPU along with 4GB RAM, 64GB of internal storage.
For optics, the Dual-SIM smartphone will feature dual rear camera setup featuring a 12MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary depth sensing shooter with Dual Pixel Autofocus. At the front, the smartphone will also feature dual sensors (20MP+2MP) clubbed with 4-in-1 super pixel and AI face unlock. The smartphone will be backed with a 4000 mAh battery.
