We previously reported that Xiaomi will be launching the next generation Redmi Note 6 Pro in India on November 22 at an event in Delhi. The Chinese smartphone maker has also reduced the prices for the Redmi Note 5 Pro alongside two other models due to decreased input costs. With the successor of Redmi Note 5 Pro rolling out next week, this move could help the company to clear out the pending stocks. Moreover, the new Redmi Note 6 Pro is slated to go on sale via Flipkart on November 23. The first flash sale will commence from 12PM IST onwards. Interestingly, Redmi Note 6 Pro's sale also coincides with Black Friday, which is the day for big sales and discounts in the US. As a reminder, the smartphone maker has already launched the new generation of the handset in Thailand back in September. Likewise the predecessor Redmi Note 5 Pro, the new Redmi Note 6 Pro will be retailed online as Flipkart exclusive and official India website. On the specification front, the Redmi Note 5 Pro successor will sport a 6.26-inch Full HD+ display with 2280×1080 px of resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the skin, the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 processor clubbed with Adreno 509 GPU and 4GB of RAM. Backed by a 4000mAh battery, the phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box with MIUI 10 on top. For photography, the new Redmi Note 6 Pro gets dual camera at the front and rear. The rear module is a combination of 12MP and 5MP sensors whereas the front setup gets 20MP and 2MP cameras. Riding on the legacy of Redmi Note 5 Pro, the smartphone will be priced in the range of Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000.
