As a reminder, Redmi Note 5 series is one of the most popular smartphones currently available in the domestic market. Priced in India from Rs 9999, the Xiaomi Note 5 smartphone has been in the Indian market since this February. Going by the Tweet from Manu Kumar Jain, the Xiaomi India Head is showcasing all the Redmi devices ranging from older Xiaomi Redmi 1S to the current Redmi offering.

Going by the image, the Red coloured smartphone can be seen clearly on the far left, which seems to be Xiaomi Note 5. This image comes from Xiaomi India Head hints that the company might introduce the Red variant in India soon. The smartphone launched in China as Redmi Note 5 is called as Note 5 Pro in India. It is also rumoured that the company might launch the Red coloured variant on the India-spec Note 5 smartphone. As far as the specs are concerned, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Flame Red edition comes fitted with a 5.99-inch FHD+ display with 1080X2160 pixels of resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Running on Android-based MIUI 9, the handset comes powered by Snapdragon 636 chipset mated with 4GB of RAM. For photography, the device comes fitted with a dual camera module at the rear featuring 12MP primary and 5MP secondary sensors. On the other hand, the front camera is a 13MP snapper with AI and HDR for selfies and video calling. Priced at CNY 1399 (around Rs. 14,500), the smartphone is backed by the same 4000 mAh battery.
