Redmi K20 is the newest addition in Xiaomi’s sub-brand - Redmi in the affordable mid-range smartphone space. The Chinese phone brand launched two new smartphones under the new K-Series, which includes K20 and K20 Pro. Offering premium design at an affordable price point, the new Redmi K20 is priced from Rs 21,999 for the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. Display: The newly launched Redmi K20 gets a 6.39-inch Horizon AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution featuring 2340x1080p and 403 ppi. On the other hand, the Realme X gets a 6.53-inch AMOLED display with 2340X1080 resolution and 91.2% screen-to-body ratio.
Specifications: The Redmi K20 is powered by an octa-core chipset, which is a Snapdragon 730 SoC, which is clubbed with up to 6GB of RAM. On the other hand, the Realme X has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC that is coupled with up to 8GB of RAM along with Adreno 616 GPU.
Variants: The Redmi K20 smartphone will be made available in two versions depending on the RAM and storage configuration - 6GB RAM + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB RAM. Realme’s flagship smartphone also comes in two versions - 4GB + 128GB & 8GB +128GB models.
Colours: The new Redmi K20 from Xiaomi will be offered in three shades - Flame Red, Glacier Blue and Carbon Black. However, the Realme X smartphone is offered in two colour options – Space Blue and Polar White.
Camera: The new Xiaomi Redmi K20 is packed with a triple rear camera (48MP+13MP+8MP) with 20MP pop-up selfie camera. Realme’s flagship device is equipped with a dual camera module at the back comprising of 48MP Sony IMX586 and 5MP camera.
Battery: Xiaomi’s newest offering under the Redmi sub-brand is backed by a massive 4000 mAh battery which can be charged with 18W fast charging technology. Realme X smartphone comes with a 3765mAh with 20W charging.
Price: The Redmi K20 smartphone is priced at Rs 21,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage while the bigger variant with 6GB RAM & 128GB storage will retail at Rs 23,999. The Realme X, on the other hand, the smartphone costs Rs 16,999 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB internal space. Moreover, the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant will be made available for sale at Rs 19,999.
