Xiaomi launched its Redmi 6 series earlier this month in India, where it introduced three models – Redmi 6 Pro, Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A. Today at noon, the Chinese smartphone company will be putting its top-end variant (Redmi 6 Pro) for sale only on Amazon.in. The phone comes in two size variants – the 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM at Rs 10,999 and the 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM at Rs 12,999. Coming to the specifications, Redmi 6 Pro sports a 5.84-inch FHD+ display with resolutions of 2280 X 1080 pixels at a 432 PPI. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor powers the smartphone combined with up to 4GB RAM and up to 64GB internal storage expandable up to 256GB via dedicated memory slot.  The phone sports a 4,000mAh battery, which Xiaomi claims helps the charge last for two days. Redmi Note 6 Pro Specifications Leaked Ahead of the Launch; Likely to Feature Dual Cameras on Both Sides.

On the optics side, Redmi 6 Pro features a dual rear camera setup of 12MP + 5MP sensors, which supports EIS for video recording, AI portrait mode and AI beautify. While the front camera comes with a 5MP sensor for video calling and selfies. For security purposes, the device introduces AI face-unlock and fingerprint reader.
