Xiaomi's sub-brand - POCO India launched the new Poco F1 flagship smartphone in India last week at a starting price of Rs 20,999. Also called as Pocophone F1, the flagship device was made available for the first sale on Wednesday exclusively via Flipkart and Mi.com. Touted as a premium product which is offered at affordable pricing, the company has officially claimed that it has registered the most significant and fastest sale for a flagship product ever retailed on Flipkart. The company officially announced that the demand for Poco F1 smartphone so huge that they generated more than 200 crores in five minutes of the sale. However, Poco India has not announced the number of units they retailed during the sale. The next sale for Poco India's flagship device is scheduled for September 5. As far as the prices are concerned, the base variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage is priced at Rs 20,999, while the mid-variant featuring 6GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt memory retails at Rs 23,999. The top-of-the-line variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory is priced at Rs 28,999. The company is also offering the top-end option of Poco F1 with Kevlar rear plate. On the specification front, the Poco F1 flagship device boasts a 6.18-inch full HD+ display that features a 2246X1080 pixels of resolution with 403ppi. The dual 4G SIM smartphone packs a 4,000mAh battery with Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0. Moving on to the camera department, the flagship product carries a dual rear cameras (12MP + 5MP) sensors along with AI-enabled 20MP selfie shooter. Under the hood, the smartphone packs Qualcomm’s flagship chipset – Snapdragon 845 SoC. Featuring Face Unlock system and fingerprint sensor, the connectivity options of Pocophone F1 are carried out by USB Type-C port, GPS, Bluetooth, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and more.
