Xiaomi's sub-brand - POCO launched its first smartphone in India last week with a starting price of Rs. 20,999. Dubbed as Poco F1, the smartphone will be made available for online sale today exclusively on Flipkart and Mi.com at 12 pm IST. Touted as an affordable smartphone, it comes powered by Qualcomm's flagship chipset - Snapdragon 845 SoC. The Xiaomi’s Poco F1 smartphone is pitted against the likes of OnePlus 6, Asus Zenfone 5z, Samsung A8 Star and others in the Indian premium smartphone space. As far as the specifications are concerned, the recently launched Poco F1 handset features a massive 6.18-inch FHD+ notched display with an aspect ratio of 18.7:9. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, the smartphone also comes with a liquid cooling technology for dissipating the heat better. Coming to the optics, the phone flaunts a dual camera setup at the rear comprising a 12MP primary shooter and 5MP secondary shooter with AI enhancements. The smartphone also features a 20MP front camera for selfie lovers. The handset also features a fingerprint scanner, an advanced IR face unlock system, USB Type-C port, GPS, Bluetooth, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and more.

The base variant of the Poco F1 with 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM is priced at Rs. 20,999, whereas the mid-variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM comes with a price tag of Rs. 23,999. On the other hand, the top-end variant featuring 8GB RAM and 256 ROM can be purchased at Rs. 28,999. Moreover, a special armoured edition is also on offer, which features 8GB RAM, 256GB ROM and Kevlar back plate.

As a part of the sale, the interested buyers can avail an instant discount of Rs. 1,000 by making payment via HDFC credit and debit cards. Reliance Jio is also providing up to Rs. 8000 benefits and up to 6TB of free 4G data on the purchase of new Poco F1.
