Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Tablet Specifications Leaked; Fingerprint Sensor Likely to Make Way for AI Face Unlock
Xiaomi will be launching new Redmi 6 Pro smartphone and Mi Pad 4 Tablet at an event in China on June 25.
We earlier reported that Xiaomi will be launching the new Redmi 6 Pro smartphone in China on June 25 alongside the new Mi Pad 4 tablet. The company also has been teasing the launch of these two products wherein the recent one revealed the specifications and other key features of the forthcoming tablet. Ahead of its official launch, another leaked image has surfaced on the internet confirming the chipset, display, variants and prices. Going by the leaked images, the tablet is likely to come with Snapdragon 660 SoC, 8-inch FHD display with 16:10 aspect ratio, up to 6GB of RAM, up to 128GB of storage and much more. The tablet will be priced at RMB 1499 which is around Rs. 15,700 for 4GB/64GB variant.
According to a new teaser posted on Weibo, it is speculated that the upcoming Mi Pad 4 will ditch the traditional fingerprint scanner and will incorporate AI face unlocking feature. It will also come packed with 13MP rear camera and 5MP secondary shooter. The tablet is expected to be packed with 6000 mAh battery. On the other hand, the Chinese smartphone making company will also be launching the third variant of Redmi 6 series. To be called as Redmi 6 Pro, the smartphone will get Snapdragon 625 chipset which is also seen on Redmi Note 4, Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Y2. The 4G enabled handset is expected to run on MIUI 10 based Android 8.1 Oreo along with 4000 mAh battery.
