Expanding its product portfolio for the Indian market, Xiaomi has launched its third Android One Smartphone in the country. Called as Xiaomi Mi A3, the smartphone comes with a triple rear camera comprising of 48MP primary sensor. Other highlights of the smartphone are a 6.08 Super AMOLED display with waterdrop-style notch, an octa-core Snapdragon 665 SoC, up to 6GB RAM, a 32MP selfie camera, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The newly launched Mi A3 will retail online via Amazon India and official Mi website apart from offline stores. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 & Redmi TV To Be Launched on August 29.

Under the skin, the newly launched Mi A3 smartphone from Xiaomi comes powered by an octa-core chipset from Qualcomm, which is Snapdragon 665 SoC. The Chipset is clubbed with up to 6GB of RAM, up to 128GB internal storage. The internal storage can be expanded via microSD card.

In the camera department, the new Xiaomi Mi A3 smartphone gets a triple AI Camera at the back. The setup comprises of a 48MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.79, an 8MP secondary sensor with wide-angle lens and a 2MP tertiary sensor for depth effect. The phone is backed by a 4030 mAh battery with 18W fast charging. The connectivity options on the new Mi A3 are carried out by 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The new Mi A3 smartphone will be offered in two variants - 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM. The 4GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 12,999 whereas the bigger 6GB variant will cost Rs 15,999. As a part of launch offer, the customers will get Rs 750 as cashback on credit card transactions and Rs 250 on EMI transaction. Additionally, the Airtel users will also get double data and unlimited calling with Rs 249 recharge.
