Xiaomi’s next Android One smartphone could be Mi A2. Recently the rumoured Mi A2 smartphone was spotted online on a Swiss retail website digitec.ch. As per the retail website, the smartphone shares similarity in terms of hardware specifications to the Mi 6X. The website also gave information about when the device will go on sale, which is scheduled for August 8 in Europe.
Coming to the specifications, the Mi A2 could sport a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display. The smartphone is likely to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor along with Adreno 512 GPU. The device may come in three coloured options – Black, Blue and Gold. According to the Swiss online store, Mi A2 smartphone may come in three variants - 4GB of RAM + 32GB storage, 4GB of RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage.
In terms of camera specifications, the smartphone is said to have a dual camera setup of 12MP + 20MP at the rear while at the front a 20MP selfie shooter. Going by the Swiss retail website, Mi A2 may feature key elements like a USB Type – C port, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 3010mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support. Coming to the prices, the base variant is likely to retail at 289 EUR (Rs.22,800 approx.) while the mid variant could see a price a tag around 329 EUR (Rs.26,000 approx.). However, the top-end variant is expected to be priced at 369 EUR (Rs.29,100 approx.).
