Coming to the specifications, the device sports a 5.99-inch FHD+ display resolution of 2160 X 1080 pixels at 403 PPI and 18:9 aspect ratio. Also, the new Android One device from Xiaomi adopts Corning Gorilla Glass 5 cover for screen protection. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor infused with AI Engine (AIE) paired with a 4 GB RAM + 64 GB ROM. The smartphone carries a 3,010 mAH battery with fast charging support.

On the optics side, the phone comes with dual cameras of 20MP + 12MP sensors at the rear. While the front incorporates a 20MP sensor for selfies. The cameras are supports AI enhanced features like AI-powered semantic segmentation, AI Beautify 4.0, light enhancement technology, face recognition and HDR imaging technology. For video recordings, the phone supports video qualities ranging from 480p to 4K shootings capped at 30 fps. It also captures slow-motion videos of a 720p set at 120 fps.
