Xiaomi Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite Smartphones Launching Globally Tomorrow; Expected Price, Features & Specifications

Xiaomi is all to unveil the new Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite smartphones globally tomorrow at an event in Spain. Ahead of the official reveal, both the devices were listed on the Chinese and British sites along with prices and specifications. Previously, the smartphones were also listed on e-retail sites in Romania as well as Poland. Moreover, the company is also taking pre-orders for the devices that are slated to launch tomorrow, reports GSMArena. As per the listings, the new upcoming Xiaomi Mi A2 smartphone could be offered in 2 variants - 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB of RAM and inbuilt storage. On the other hand, the Mi A2 Lite will also be offered in 2 variants - 32GB/3GB of RAM and 4GB/64GB of internal storage.

The online listing also revealed the prices for the A2 smartphone wherein the 32GB version was priced at RON 1288 (around Rs 22,000) whereas the 64GB variant was listed at RON 1424 (approximately Rs 24,000. Coming to the Mi A2 Lite, the 3GB variant was listed at RON 943 (around Rs 16,000) while the 4 GB variant was priced at RON 1143 which is approximately Rs 19,000. Packed with a 6-inch FHD+ 18:9 display, the new Mi A2 Handset will come powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. For photography, the device will get a dual camera module at the rear featuring 12MP primary shooter and 20MP secondary shooter. The front camera is likely to be a 20MP sensor for selfies and video calling. The device will run stock Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.

Talking about the Mi A2 Lite, the handset is expected to sport slightly smaller notched display panel with a 19:9 aspect ratio. Powering the device will be a Snapdragon 625 SoC which will be coupled to up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage. To be backed by a 4000 mAh battery, the smartphone will also run on stock Android 8.1 Oreo.
