WhatsApp, a Facebook owned free cross-platform messaging service has rolled out a new update in order to enhance the admin experience, providing them more tools to easily manage it. The company previously tested the privacy features for administrators, group voice calls and group video call. But, this time they decided to develop a new feature to improve the admin features. Giving more power to the group administrator, the users who are group admins can demote other admin without removing them from the same group.
According to the report from WaBetaInfo, this new feature on WhatsApp is currently rolled out for iOS users under the version 2.18.41. However, the Android users are yet to receive this feature on the WhatsApp.
With the new feature rolled, the group admin of the WhatsApp group can now remove the admin without removing him from the group. Unlike the previous updates, where the group admin of a WhatsApp group had to remove other admin from the group and later on add him again for removing as an admin.
The company is rolling out frequent updates in order to make WhatsApp more user friendly and feature loaded. Recently, the payment service of WhatsApp was updated by adding a Request for money feature. The feature allows the user to request money from family member, friend or other contacts which is offered on Android Beta only.
