San Francisco, September 4: WhatsApp has been testing new features and will likely launch them soon for all users. The Meta-owned platform has been experimenting with two new features related to stickers and status. WhatsApp new features include 'GIPHY Sticker Search' and 'Status Update - viewer list'. Both of these features have been rolled out on different platforms for beta testing but will soon be available for all users.

Meta-owned WhatsApp recently rolled out its GIPHY Sticker Search feature on iOS for beta testing, and now it is rolling out the same feature on the Android platform. This feature was released for iOS 24.17.78 on September 2. The GIPHY Sticker search feature helps users find stickers directly within the app and manage them efficiently. WhatsApp users can use this feature to move their favourite stickers to the top of their collection for quick access, according to a post by WABetaInfo. Users can now move stickers within the tray for better access and reply or react directly from the media viewer screen, enhancing engagement with shared content.

This feature allows  WhatsApp users to access status updates directly from a list of viewers. It helps users view the status without cluttering the screen. WhatsApp allows users to check their status by showing a green ring around the profile picture.
