Mumbai, October 7: WhatsApp has been testing a new feature called "Chat Themes" that will be rolled out for all users in the future. The Meta-owned platform will roll out the new Chat Themes feature to iOS as a beta version for testing. The latest WhatsApp feature will be rolled out soon for more people. The instant messaging platform recently rolled out the "Contact Syncing" feature as a beta version.

The WhatsApp "Contact Synching" feature was rolled out for iOS and Android beta testing platforms. It allowed the beta users to disable the contact synchronisation of certain accounts to maintain privacy. Using this feature, the platform users could ensure that their contacts list remained separate. WhatsApp Chat Themes Feature: Check Details

The Chat Themes feature has been rolled out to the iOS 24.20.71 version for beta testing. It will allow iPhone users to enhance the application's personalisation. The new WhatsApp feature will allow users to apply different themes to any specific chat. Unlike now, users have to use the same theme they applied once for the chat, according to a post by WABetaInfo. 

The WhatsApp beta platform informed users that by applying different themes, they would be able to express their moods. A different theme would be applied to suit their moods with specific conversations. According to WABetainfo, the new WhatsApp chat theme feature would offer 22 distinct themes and 20 colours, expanding the users' choice. WhatsApp users can also go to  Settings and select a default chat theme, which would be applied to all the chats within the app. Users can choose different themes by going to the specific chat info screen. The application would choose a colour that matches the selected theme. Currently available as a beta, these features will be officially rolled out to all users soon.
