WhatsApp may soon allow voice note transcriptions in Hindi, English, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish and Russian, as per a report of CNBC TV18. The feature will enable users to transcribe their voice messages directly on their devices, which is expected to make it easier for users to manage and respond to voice notes.

WhatsApp's latest update allows users to share screens with audio. Video calls on WhatsApp can now support up to 32 participants across all devices. The WhatsApp Beta for Android, version 2.24.13.8, indicates upcoming support for voice message transcriptions in multiple languages including Hindi, English, Russian, Portuguese (Brazil) and Spanish. To use this feature, users will have to download a specific language data package. The voice message transcription feature is currently in the beta stage and will require further development before it can be fully utilised by users.
