Using Meta AI on WhatsApp, users can generate images and get details about their questions by providing text prompts. Now, WhatsApp is trying to integrate Meta AI by introducing a new voice chat feature.
Mark Zuckerberg recently announced Llama 3.1, an open-source model with 405B (405 billion), which is now integrated with Meta AI on WhatsApp. According to a post by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp started developing its new voice chat mode feature with Meta AI for iOS users. This feature is still in development and will be rolled out for beta testers first before getting an official release. Last week, this WhatsApp Beta website said that Mark Zuckerberg already announced several new enhancements in Meta AI, including image editing features. It said that the upcoming "voice chat mode" feature will allow users to communicate better with Meta AI, improving interactions with the chatbot. Once this feature is rolled out, the chatbot can reply with voice, like ChatGPT voice mode.
WhatsApp's Meta AI has been rolled out with limited capabilities, such as text-to-text and text-to-image generation.
