Have you been using the voice message feature on WhatsApp very often? Then this could be a good news for you. In the beta version of the messaging application, for Android, a new feature is being tried upon. The user can lock the voice message recording. So you will no more have to keep the mic pressed on till you record your entire message. In the follow-up update, there could be an option for you to listen to the voice recording before you send it across. Makes voice messages more convenient right?
This feature is already available for iPhone users. Apparently the feature was internally tested last year itself. Once you get the updated version, all you need to do is press the recording mic for 0.5 seconds, then slide up your finger and at the lock symbol. After you are done with the recording you can click send to just send it across. The cancel button will appear next to the timer, when you are recording, in case you want to scrap your recording.
Reports state that WhatsApp is working on a feature to first listen to the message before sending it. Off late, the messaging application is trying on different inclusions for better user experience. They were working on including stickers from the Facebook messenger pack to be used while chatting. Moreover, in the next updates it will also show you the size of the sticker pack before you download them. To experience these exclusive features you will have to download the Beta version of the application from the Play Store.
