Vivo Y28s 5G Smartphone India Price Slashed; Here’s How It Costs Now
With new prices coming into effect, the Vivo Y28s 5G handset now costs INR 13,499 for the base 4GB variant.
Mumbai, October 6: The Vivo Y28s smartphone was launched in the country a couple of months ago alongside the Y28e at a starting price of INR 13,999. To attract buyers this festive season, the Chinese phone maker has slightly reduced the price by INR 500 across all the variants. With new prices coming into effect, the Vivo Y28s 5G handset now costs INR 13,499 for the base 4GB variant. Other variants with 6GB and 8GB configurations are priced at INR 14,999 and INR 16,499, respectively.
The 5G handset is available in two shades: Vintage Red and Twinkling Purple. Interested customers can purchase the device via Flipkart and the Vivo India e-store. Vivo Y28s sports a 6.56-inch HD+ LCD screen with 90Hz refresh rate and up to 840 nits peak brightness. It draws power from the same MediaTek-sourced octa-core Dimensity 6100 5G SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM for Y28s. Tecno Spark 30C 5G India Launch Confirmed for October 8.
For photography, the Vivo Y28s comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup, which comprises a 50MP Sony IMX 852 primary sensor and an undisclosed secondary shooter. The front camera is an 8MP front camera, catering to selfies and video calls. It gets a massive 5000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support, and runs on FunTouch OS 14 based on Android 14 out-of-the-box.
