Vivo India, is all set to launch a new smartphone under its V-series in the Indian market today. Dubbed as Vivo V17, the smartphone will be launched at an event in Delhi. The Chinese brand recently launched a smartphone with the same name in the Russian market; however, the reports claim that the Indian version will be different from the former. The launch event of Vivo V17 is scheduled to commence at noon. The company will be broadcasting the launch event straight from the venue via its official social media handles as well as official YouTube channel. As far as the specifications are concerned, the Vivo V17 will sport a 6.44-inch display with a punch-hole design. Underneath the skin, the phone will come powered by a Snapdragon 675 chipset. Moreover, the phone is also likely to be offered in a single storage configuration. Additionally, we could also see a quad-camera module at the rear comprising of a 48MP primary shooter along with an 8MP secondary sensor. The remaining two snappers will be 2MP sensors. At the front, there will be a 32MP snapper for video calls and selfies.

The phone will pack a massive 4000mAh battery with an 18W fast charging technology. As per the market reports, the design of the India-spec Vivo V17 will be different than the Russian version. The India specific smartphone will carry a punch-hole display instead of a waterdrop notch seen on the Russian variant. Additionally, the upcoming Vivo V17 will also get an L-shaped camera setup at the back.

As far as the prices are concerned, the company will be looking to keep the price somewhere between Rs 25,000 and Rs 30,000. More details about the phone will be announced at the launch event.
