Vivo India will be unveiling the new V17 Series in the Indian market today. The Chinese phone brand will be revealing the new smartphones at an event in New Delhi. The new Vivo V17 Pro smartphone is likely to be priced around Rs 29,000. As per the market rumours, several offline retailers across the country have already started taking pre-orders for the device. As far as the specifications are concerned, the smartphone will get a 6.44-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 2440 x 1080 pixels. The handset will be powered by an octa-core chipset from Qualcommm - Snapdragon 675 SoC which will be clubbed with Adreno 612 GPU. The smartphone will also be packed with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The main underline of the phone will be a 32MP dual pop-up selfie camera. The handset will also be offered with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal space. The internal storage can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. For photography, there will be a quad-camera module at the rear featuring a 48MP primary shooter with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP super-wide-angle lens with 120 degree FOV, a 2MP depth sensor and a 13MP telephoto lens with 2x zoom. The rear camera setup comprises of Phase Detection autofocus, Digital Zoom, 2x Optical Zoom, Auto Flash and Touch to focus. At the front, there is a 32MP dual pop-up selfie camera setup with f/2.0 aperture along with a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera supports Super wide-angle selfie as well as Super night selfie feature.

The phone will be backed by a 4000 mAh battery with fast charging technology. The phone will run on the latest version of Android 9.0 Pie based on FunTouch OS 9.1. For connectivity, the phone will come with dual 4G VoLTE, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio and USB Type-C port.
